I’m incredibly fortunate to spend so much of my time on set being creative. This playful series was imagined, concepted, and created in collaboration with one of the sharpest photo minds in West Michigan: Haworth’s brilliant photo director.
Together we used a projector to build this world, layering patterns across the scene and sculpting highlights with gridded strobes to accent the design of the chairs. One of the most satisfying parts of this shoot was the exploration: testing angles, shifting focus, figuring out how the beam of projected light could interact with the set and subject. Where should it land? Where should it hide? How could we throw just the right shadows to create something dynamic and unexpected?
I’m really proud to have created these images with a company willing to trust that great ingredients will lead to exceptional results. Creativity is alive and thriving.
